The vessel is a medium sized, modern catamaran that is family and wheelchair friendly. Due to its size, it is a small group tour. During the season, June to November, Whalesong operates two tours a day, a 5 hour extended morning cruise and a 4 hour afternoon and sunset cruise. Whalesong docks at the floating jetty beyond the transit terminal. The main gangway is wide and gently sloping although the actual steepness of the ramp is tide dependent. The vessel is boarded via two ramps giving access to the main saloon. An accessible toilet is located on the aft deck just outside the saloon door.
