About Scarness Caravan Park
Calm pristine waters front the park with sandy beaches ideal for the kids to play on with safe swimming all year round. Sea-lovers delight in such easy access to every possible aquatic pursuit, from sailing to water skiing, swimming to snorkelling, or simply sitting and watching the waves. Stroll across the street and you’ll have your pick of shops, hotels, cafes and restaurants.
Council has embarked on the planned refurbishment program for all four of its parks, with the first and second stages of the Scarness caravan park upgrade now complete. Boasting new internal roadways, uniformed and larger van sites, new underground power, water and sewerage systems, along with the construction of a new unisex amenities facility, laundry, camp kitchen, BBQ area and manager’s office and residence.
Accessibility Information
Facilities provided within the park include a pavilion with ramped access, shade shelters with accessible picnic tables, an accessible BBQ, an observation deck with level access from the park, and a nautical themed playground with a level rubberized surface and cognitive play panels. A Pier extends out into the bay from the middle of the park, making it a perfect place to wet a line. The pier has two platforms at its midpoint and a larger area at the end. The pier has level access from the park. A paved access ramp to the beach is located on the southern side of Enzo’s cafe.
