About Dayman Park

Dayman Park offers barbeque and picnic facilities, a playground with climbing net in the lower section adjacent to the Waterside Cafe and Reefworld Aquarium.

The upper section of Dayman Park offers great views of K’gari (formerly Fraser Island), the marina and the Great Sandy Strait. It is in the upper section where you will find the Mathew Flinders Memorial and the Krait Memorial overlooking the Great Sandy Strait.

Accessibility Information

Located at the end of Dayman Street, Urangan, Dayman Park offers BBQ and picnic facilities, a playground which contains a variety of musical activities and accessible toilet facilities, the tables do not have accessible seating, however. Designated disabled parking is provided. On the southern side of Reef World is a concrete path to the beach. A gently sloping path leads to the upper section of the park which contains the Mathew Flinders and Krait Memorials and the Mathew Flinders Lookout which affords great views across the Great Sandy Strait to Fraser Island. Embedded into the paving of the upper level is an indigenous interpretative trail.
