About Gatakers Artspace
A creative hub in two restored heritage warehouses dating back to the 1800s, the Artspace blends the charm of history with contemporary creativity. Since opening in 2010, it has become a central hub for the Fraser Coast’s thriving arts community.
The buildings feature dedicated gallery spaces for exhibitions, workshop areas, and an artisan retail store.
A standout feature in the Print Studio is the installation of the historic 1869 No.5 iron platen hand press, which provides a unique hands-on printmaking experience.
More than just a gallery, Gatakers Artspace is a living, evolving space where art, history, and community come together.
