We are located 5km west of Howard near Hervey Bay QLD Australia. Our 140 acre property is surrounded by the Wongi State Forest. Camping is available on our 50 acre paddock where you can camp under the trees accessible for motor homes and caravans.There is no cattle on the paddock. There are no facilities here so campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water, and take all waste with them on departure. It is just a 10 min drive to Howard with a pub (great food), a local IGA store, bakery (awesome sandwiches, pies and cakes), the butcher with an awesome selection and also a takeaway and a cafe. Spend your days at the beautiful Toogoom beach or at Burrum Heads only 20min away, fishing or doing bush walks in the area. There is plenty to see and to do here with Hervey Bay and Fraser Island close by as well. Or enjoy peace and quiet with an abundance of bird life and occasional wildlife including wild horses, kangaroos and lizards.
