The Anzac Day Service will be commencing at 11am at Miva. The guest speaker will be Mr Kerry Shipp who recently travelled to Israel to attend the re-enactment of the Australian Light Horse charge of Beersheba 100 years ago.
This Service has been run by the Miva Branch of the QCWA every year since 1928, and usually well over 100 people attend. Everyone is welcome. A light luncheon will be served following the Service.
As the Dickabram Bridge is closed for repairs, it is suggested that attendees from the Maryborough area approach via Woolooga Road from Tiaro, though there is a walking path open over the bridge.
