STEAMfesta Steam Punk Festival – Day 2 – Maryborough

Free Event STEAMfesta celebrates Day 2 in Maryborough where it all started with more costume creativity, street performers, music, vendors, parkland promenades, heritage streetscapes, Steam Trains, combat robot demos, and science based STEAM and Cos Play workshops . Whatever your creative passion STEAMfesta aims to have you bursting with S.T.E.A.M. fueled excitement.

What to expect:
- Steampunk event, music and entertainment
- Costume competition – prizes for the best costumes.
- Battle at the Brolga, a new STEM feature for STEAMfesta. Join the excitement of the very first Battle at the Brolga as teams battle their ant-weight robots to be the 2022 Battle at the Brolga Champions.
- Steampunk vendors.
- Food and refreshment vendors- picnic area.
- Street performers for your entertainment.
- STEM workshops including how to draw a 3D world for Augmented Reality (AR).
- Parklands and river side setting, with all weather theatre facilities.
- Sunday in the Park means rides on the Mary Ann, a replica of the first steam train built in Queensland and on the MELSA model steam trains. Excelsior Band will be playing in Queens Park.
- RSL Pipe Band.
