STEAMfesta steampunk festival, 25-26 June on the fabulous Fraser Coast. Gadgets, music, creativity, and family fun! STEAMfesta celebrates the glory of Steampunk imagination and costume creativity with street performers, music, vendors, promenades, heritage streetscapes, train memorabilia, and science-based S.TE.A.M. workshops. What to expect: Street performers, steampunk vendors, food and refreshment vendors, a picnic area for those who wish to bring a picnic (no alcohol), and STEM workshops including how to draw a 3D world for Augmented Reality (AR). Fantastic 5-acre venue full of displays and buildings including a working iron forge, marine chandlery, heritage shop, coach house, fire station, schoolhouse, chapel, train platform, heritage garage, and so much more… plus vehicles, machinery, and gadgets lost to memory – perfect for those special steampunk backdrops.
