Australian Adventure Park
What it's all about
The fun, the excitement
Situated on the Burrum River, 30 kilometres north-west of Hervey Bay, 10 kilometres off the Bruce Highway, a 108-acre Adventure Park is designed for camping for groups, families, friends, schools, clubs and corporates.
The park is ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, abseiling, flying fox from a 10 metre Tower, laser skirmish, archery, cycling and lakeside camping and glamping. It is the perfect place to fish and kayak in an ornamental lake that spreads over 11 acres. It is stocked with perch, bass and brim (catch and release) or fish on the Burrum River.
Enjoy nature walks to see kangaroos and a variety of birds and animals through the bushland.
Around the lake are picnic spots to allow visitors to relax, launch a kayak from the bank, exercise or read a book. Large Powered and non-powered camp sites are situated on the lake edge for absolute waterfront camping suitable for all types of tents and caravans. Powered glamping tents are found on an island.
There is an amenities block with nine toilets and showers including handicapped. A dump point is available on request.
Fires and pets are permitted. Bring your own kayaks, fishing gear and cycles. Early birds catch the worm!
