Travelling By Road

The Fraser Coast is within driving distance from Queensland's Capital, Brisbane, with Maryborough being just three hours drive (255 kilometers) north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway (A1). Hervey Bay is a further 34 kilometers north-east of Maryborough, Childers is 60 kilometers north of Maryborough on the Bruce Highway and Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach can also be accessed via Gympie or Maryborough.

If you do travel by road, you can explore the diversity of the beautiful Fraser Coast coastline, as well as the diversity of the Fraser Coast Hinterland. From the calm stinger free waters of Hervey Bay, the surf in Rainbow Beach to the fine food and wine to be had in Kilkivan, there is no better way to see all the Fraser Coast has to offer than from the comfort of your own vehicle!
