A fantastic celebration of the discovery of coal in the Burrum district, encompassing Howard and Torbanlea in 1863. The firing of the Heritage Canon starts the parade consisting of all things yesteryear, floats representing community groups, businesses and some of the many attractions on display for the weekend. Join in workshops making old time crafts or see demonstrations of yesteryear working machinery. Rides, face painting , animal farm, art exhibition and quilt show all working towards a fun weekend. Street stalls and a wide variety of gourmet foods to tempt everyone.
