Hervey Bay

Bordered by 14 kilometres of pristine beaches, Hervey Bay offers the world's closest encounters with humpback whales as well as easy access to Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island. Its safe sheltered waters make it an aquatic paradise perfect for year round swimming, diving, sailing, watersports and fishing.

Burrum Heads

Nestled at the mouth of the Burrum River, approximately 30 minutes north of Hervey Bay lies the peaceful villag of Burrum Heads. A relaxed atmosphere, fantastic climate, great fishing and safe beaches make Burrum Heads an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life.

Toogoom

A picturesque seaside community 15 minutes drive from Hervey Bay, Toogoom is the perfect spot to inddulge in a week of relaxing by the water. This area boasts unspoilt beaches, great fishing, wildlife, bird watching and a waterfront restaurant.

Boonooroo

Boonooroo is located along the banks of the Great Sandy Strait, a quiet waterway running between Fraser Island and the mainland.

Tin Can Bay

Experience a tranquil getaway in ecotourism surroundings. Originally known by the aborigines as Tuncanbar, this peaceful bayside town is renowned for its recreational fishing and boating pleasures. One of the very special features of Tin Can Bay is the regular visits of wild dolphins to the waters edge.

Rainbow Beach

With its rolling surf and relaxed atmosphere, Rainbow Beach is expanding rapidly as visitors discover the beauty of this coastal town. Attractions include the magnificent coloured sands, Carlo Sandblow, Double Island Point Lighthouse and the Cooloola National Park.

Woodgate

Woodgate beach offers a stunning curve of white sand over 16 kilometres long, backed by a continuous sweep of shady she-oaks.
