The Opportunity
Fraser Coast Tourism & Events Ltd (FCTE)
Reporting to the CEO Fraser Coast Tourism & Events is seeking a leader if strategic marketing, brand, communications and digital capability for the Fraser Coast.
You will be responsible for driving visitation, increasing destination awareness and delivering measurable commercial outcomes through integrated campaigns, strong storytelling and data-led marketing.
This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of destination marketing in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Fraser Coast destination marketing strategy
- Deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR and partnerships
- Oversee brand, communications, media and content
- Drive digital performance, audience growth and campaign ROI
- Lead marketing technology (MarTech), CRM and data-driven marketing capability
- Strengthen industry partnerships and cooperative marketing programs
- Leverage opportunities with Tourism Australia and Tourism and Events Queensland to attract international and domestic visitors
- Manage and develop a high-performing marketing team
About You
You are a strategic and commercially minded marketing leader who understands how to translate brand into demand.
You bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or destination marketing
- Proven success delivering integrated campaigns that drive measurable results
- Strong digital, content and brand capability
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation and data-led marketing
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style
- Excellent stakeholder and partnership management skills

Manager Partnerships and Growth
Fraser Coast Tourism & Events Ltd (FCTE)
Fraser Coast Tourism & Events is seeking a proactive and commercially driven Manager – Partnerships & Growth to lead our Partnership Program and support the growth of the region’s visitor economy. FCTE is the Fraser Coast’s peak body for destination marketing, tourism development and events, proudly promoting iconic experiences including K’gari (Fraser Island) and the region’s unique natural and cultural assets.
The Role
In this outward‑facing position, you’ll grow our partnership base, strengthen industry relationships and drive revenue through partnership sales, renewals and advertising. You’ll also support the delivery of major events by securing commercial sponsors and building long‑term strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and retain partners across tourism sectors
- Lead partnership sales, renewals and advertising opportunities
- Deliver partner engagement programs, events and capability workshops
- Represent the Fraser Coast at trade, consumer and networking events
- Maintain CRM data, reporting and revenue forecasting
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams on campaigns and activations
About You
- 2–3 years in partnerships or business development
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and confidently cold call
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience coordinating business or networking events
- CRM and Microsoft 365 proficiency and strong organisational skills
- Certificate IV or higher in Business, Tourism, Marketing or Sales (desirable)
- Open C Class driver licence (required)
